Today I want to talk mirrors. For me the design of a mirror and the placement of the mirror can add so much to a project. For me a mirror helps add depth to any room, brings light into certain dark areas and adds a touch of elegance. Nowadays the trend is different shaped bathroom mirrors. I do love different shaped mirrors but for me the frame is the most important part. The frame need to blend with the decor and sometimes that task is not that easy.
This weekend I did a little mirror shopping. I went into San Francisco to get a little bit of an idea of what I wanted in a mirror. I took my sketchbook and of course my iPhone camera. Then I drove back home and I spent about three hours on the computer mirror shopping.
First up was this John Richard Colette Mirror. I absolutely love the color of the frame for this mirror but I was not sure if it had the shape I was looking for. This mirror seemed perfect for a kitchen but I was on the fence. Still an amazing mirror.
Next up was Michael Aram Rock Mirror which really caught me eye. This mirror makes a statement but I was just not sure if it flowed with the decor. I bookmarked this mirror for later…
Another amazing mirror was this Bubble Mirror at Neiman Marcus. This mirror I had to pick up because it flowed with another project I was working on. This mirror is unique and the design is just very cool.
Since rock and gemstone mirrors are my trend to watch for in 2016 this Janice Minor Gemstone Mirror caught my eye also. For me this mirror is fun and will get that second look that we really want from any unique piece in a room.
Well I hope you enjoyed these mirrors and have an inspired week!
