As we gear up to open Tastefully Inspired’s new home decor store, Tastefully Curated, I’ve had the opportunity to forge and cultivate new relationships with some pretty amazing people. Today, I’m excited to tell you about our latest partnership for modern handmade ceramics.
When I first saw the ceramic tumblers from Bebe Federmann of Soul Vessel Designs, I knew we had to have them. Her ability to mold beautiful shapes and wrap simple, clean colors around her pieces makes them a great accessory for any home. Whether they’re holding a sumptuous merlot, or a lively little succulent plant, the versatility of her cups and bowls makes each piece a unique statement.
Bebe works from her studio in Brooklyn and has this to say about her love for clay. “Clay is unique, with an unforgettable touch and texture…it is easy to transform into anything you can imagine. The very first time I sat at the potter’s wheel I knew that clay would forever be a part of my life, I just didn’t know that it would also become a career.
My pottery is made to be used as your everyday tableware, or just for those special occasions. Every piece I make has a function, even if that function is only to add beauty to your home, or start a conversation around the coffee table.
I work in my studio almost every day, and find it is an energy source, and a way to connect with earth and nature, even during the cold New York winters, when most of my time is spent inside.”
Bebe’s work has been seen at some pretty big events around the NY area including the 2017 Women’s Expo and even pop up shops at West Elm.
She can be found at the upcoming Renegade Craft Fair next month which has been showcasing the best and brightest in indie craft around the globe.
We will be featuring some specially curated pieces from Bebe as well as many other skilled artisans on Tastefully Curated so, please bookmark us and stay tuned for details on our grand opening and sweepstakes giveaway!
Bebe’s work can be also be found on Etsy and be sure to follow her gorgeous account on Instagram.
Welcome to the TI/TC family, Bebe!!!
