Where to start? The bottle of Voga Red Fusion Wine I tried last weekend practically leaped off the shelf and into my arms at my local wine store. I mean, with a bottle like that, who could resist?
I will tell you how it tasted in a second, but first, I have to tell you; just looking at their website made me feel like I am walking down the streets of the fashion district in Milan. It’s full of photos of models, which I can’t quite figure out what they have to do with the wine, but maybe that’s part of the allure. I mean, who doesn’t want to try a bottle held by sexy models and the cynlindrical shape, well, that can probably lead some people’s imaginations down a different path, but that’s beside the point.
I enjoyed this wine despite the hype. It was smooth and silky and not too heavy. On their site they say:
VOGA Italia Red Fusion combines a blend of Zinfandel and Cabernet from the Southern Italian region of Puglia. It’s aged in wood offering a mouth filling pleasure with a complexity of flavors, packed with blackberries, cherries and plum flavors. The toasty oak adds a vibrant caramelized sweetness. There is enough tannin structure for balance, although the wine is soft enough to drink now. Long and delicate on the finish.
- Varietal: 65% Zinfandel, 35% Cabernet
- Area of Production: Puglia (Salento)
- Alcohol content: 13.5% by Vol.
- pH: 3.48
- Acidity: 5.5 g/l
- Vinification: soft pressing with maceration on the skins
- Fermentation: controlled temperature
- Serving temperature: 60 °F / 15 °C
So, I do actually recommend this sexy wine or maybe try their vodka which looked pretty darn sexy, too.

Very cute and fun review. Infused is not really my style but I might give it a try.
Thanks Jason! Try it – you might like it!
