Honestly everyone has their opinion on the best hotel in Las Vegas. I have heard and stayed in all the plush hotels and the truth is that once the rose colored glasses come off you need to look at good solid design.
Hype is hype and telling your friends that you the Bellagio might raise some eyebrows but for me I judge my love for a hotel on how long I can stay there before I long for my own bed.
Some of the nicer hotels in Las Vegas have this feel that Lawrence Welk himself designed it. Now if you like that vibe then Vegas is filled with those type of high priced hotels but for me I have three favorites. Below are some images and a little on why I like them.
The Aria is amazing and very plush. I had the pleasure of staying there last week and I loved it. The staff was friendly and the design of the hotel screams modern luxury which I just love. Now when someone hooks you up with a Sky Suite and it takes your breath away you know this hotel is a keeper. Also their nightclub Jewel is off the charts!
Next up the SLS which is a newly built hotel that is as modern as it gets with sleek lines and one of the best pool scenes in Las Vegas. In my opinion Sam Nazarian is the new king of Las Vegas. Great job on this amazing hotel and please tell Lenny Kravitz his design work is incredible.
This next hotel will always have a soft spot for me because it always seems to go unmentioned by my friends at VegasTripping. The Mandarin Oriental is the gem of Vegas in my opinion because I never want to leave. It is one of the most unstated yet elegant hotels I have even seen…for Vegas. If you want to take a chance and have the odds in your favor you have to see this hotel up close. It really does not disappoint.
