I started my career after college working in the music industry. I had some amazing stories like going shopping with Ben Harper on Haight Street or talking the blues with John Lee Hooker. It was an amazing time for me working with some of my idols. Even now the first thing I reach to turn on is my music after I hit the snooze a few times. Today I started my day listening to the Rolling Stones. When I say the listening to the Stones I mean the first 5 albums, which are sacred to me. Then I grabbed my cup of coffee and thought of today’s blog topic.
Ever since I saw that Lenny Kravitz designed Jennifer Anniston’s Bel Air mansion I was curious. I did my research and saw his collection for Rocky Mountain Hardware, which I just loved. In my opinion it was one of the best collections I have seen from them in awhile. Now I am not a novice and I am sure he has a top team of designers at his disposal. Still the question remained would the rock stars invade our precious design world.
Here are a few images that for me blend rock and design in the latest issue of AD.
Wearing this dress to an event surely will get you noticed and maybe even served first! Love this Ad.
Every rock star needs their spirits to be lifted in a glass this cool.
Again my love for a good soak over takes my blogs. Playing a vintage guitar with one leg hanging out of the tub is the way to go.
I dedicate this sofa to the Rolling Stones. This is something I could see in a recording studio and pairs nicely with gorgeous wood floors.
Enjoy your weekend and if you get a change try listening to some vintage Stones while sitting on your perfect piece of furniture.
